Celebrities will be stroking eachothers’ egos Oval Office style. Shoeface Sarah Jessica Parker and Queen Anna Wintour are among the 25 new members of the President’s Committee on the Arts and the Humanities.

Since we need a reason to luv Obama these days, he’s sprinkled some savory crumbs our way. Who the hell knows what said committee will get done? SJP could do the world a favor by finally going under the knife, or letting Matthew Broderick off the leash occassionaly. (Ferris is frantically panting for another day off I know it.)

And Anna could just dehthrone Joe Biden as VP. One death stare and I know he'd be done for. So many problems solved!

“Leave Anna alone!” Excuse me for channeling Chris Crocker, but in each interview she gives (and she gives good interview), Wintour inevitably has to answer the same question: how does she feel about her reputation as the reigning ice queen of fashion? Last night was no different on Letterman. She was there to promote Friday's release of The September Issue, a doc about her and the velvet Vogue mafia.

The Frosty One sat next to the comic, with her razor sharp back perfectly poised, and answered his asinine questions. Anna should have flashed her fangs, pounced on the hair piece wonder, and sunk her chompers into his jugular. Either that, or she could have stared straight at him with her sub zero peepers until he brick shit.

Instead, Wintour came across as collected as ever, and made much of her upcoming trip to Queens, where she’ll sign shirts and carouse with the commoners for the sake of Fashion’s Night Out on Sept. 10. If anyone can deliver the goods to Queens, it’s Queen Anna.
